Summary

Under minimal supervision, maintains proper inventory levels throughout the area, performs cycle counts, prioritizes and organizes work orders for Lamination, and performs other  duties, as required.

 

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Must comply with SOPs and work instructions related to job function
  • Must be here daily on time and provide daily start ups
  • Must be able to effectively communicate with peers on off shifts (passdowns)
  • Will be held accountable to performance standards to ensure output positively contributes to area specific KPIs (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost)
  • Works collaboratively with peers and internal customers
  • Conduct manual production operations as required
  • Performs daily cycle counts for accurate inventory control
  • Identifies inventory stocking issues, pulls, transacts and delivers supplies
  • Tracks work orders to ensure on-time deliveries
  • Contributes to the culture of continuous improvement by looking for and communicating opportunities to improve performance
  • Proactively logs and escalates potential issues in order to minimize safety, quality, delivery issues and / or operational inefficiencies
  • Must be able to effectively run and train new employees on SOP’s in immediate area
  • Participate in root cause, corrective / preventive action activities as required
  • Packages finished product and WIP as required
  • Provides assistance to other associates as required
  • Wears personal protective equipment as required for operation being performed
  • Follows all safety regulations throughout the factory
  • Monitor emails from external and enternal customers to meet delivery demands
  • Must be able to effectively communicate with customers on quality or delivery issues
  • Performs daily audits in the area to insure correct pace for target delivery dates
  • Communicates closely with the Shipping department to make sure all financial transactions are completed real time
  • Must be able to complete all Oracle transactions
  • Must be able to manage Press operators daily execution
  • Strategic planning for the room to effectively manage headcount
  • Must be able to crosstrain all individuals in the room on every operation
  • Must be able to identify and troubleshoot quality issues
  • Must have the ability to effectively communicate with peers and subordinates
  • Must conduct themselves as a leader at all times

  • Must possesses the ability to work at a fast pace with very high attention to detail
  • Must have flexibility to work overtime as required (including weekends) and periodically work a different shift. 
  • Requires the ability to learn, use and maintain specialized equipment
  • Accepts and embraces constant change as a necessary factor to success
  • Ability to keep and maintain a security clearance

 

Education and/or Experience          

  • Must have a minimum of five years manufacturing experience
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent

 

Language Skills                   

  • Ability to effectively communicate in the English language verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical journals, specifications, international technical standards, etc.        
  • Must be able to communicate with all levels of employees     

 

Computer Skills     

  • Proficient with in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel is preferred.
  • Proficient with Oracle and Agile
  • Profecicent with enternal apps exesting and new

 

Customer Expectations

  • Has desire to provide the customer with the highest quality products on time every time.
  • Understand and actively demonstrate the principles of HID customer centricity policy.

  • Must be able to distinguish colors.
