The Director of Product Marketing, Cloud Solutions for the Secure Issuance (SI) Global Business Unit (GBU) reports to the Vice President of Product Marketing, Secure Issuance and oversees the overall business strategy for SI Cloud Solutions. In driving execution of this strategy, the Product Marketing Director ensures success by delivering on product strategy, driving product development, and leading the growth of the Cloud Solutions within the SI GBU. The Director must ensure alignment of the overall business plans, sales objectives, and marketing activities, including those executed by collaborating marketing functions and cross functional participants. The incumbent will be responsible for working with multiple technologies and products culminating with the creation of leading edge cloud solutions that can be seamlessly and successfully deployed across HID’s vast global footprint.

The development and implementation of a sound global Go-to-Market (GTM) strategy will be the key to the success of the SI GBU’s ability to increase market share and visibility of our cloud solutions and meet or exceed assigned objectives and goals. The Product Marketing Director must also develop and maintain a high level of rapport with internal and external stakeholders as the role requires extensive collaboration with individuals and organizations including, but not limited to: End User and Channel Customers, HID Global SI sales and marketing teams (including pre-sales), engineering, operations, accounting and finance, suppliers, cross-functional groups, and 3rd parties, as necessary.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

•Provide expert understanding of the cloud market and create a vision and strategy for how the Secure Issuance GBU can help businesses move from traditional issuance solutions to those of cloud and hybrid solutions when the business case justifies.
•Define the markets and target end users to be served by the Secure Issuance Cloud product portfolio
•Identify business issues and goals to be addressed by the Secure Issuance Cloud product portfolio
•Develop and prioritize Market Requirements for SI cloud Solutions through use of Agile User Stories
•Be the voice of the customer in developing cloud solutions, translating that knowledge into an executable GTM strategy.
•Define and build a global SI cloud roadmap based on key market trends and compelling opportunities that differentiates HID Global as a cloud market leader, establishing key KPI’s to drive the business.
•Provide leadership in creating GTM strategies based on well-defined best practices, processes, training, sales and support.
•Understand how to interpret analytical data and apply it to strategic and tactical plans.
•Ability to represent the HID SI GBU as product expert at industry, channel, supplier and customer events.
•Conduct regular meetings with strategic suppliers, sales management, and marketing counterparts to discuss and track progress on business and marketing plans and any open issues.
•Work with sales, engineering, and sales operations teams to ensure that HID Global is addressing all enablement needs of the channel partners.
•Operate programs within specified plan & budget while ensuring strict compliance and financial controls.
•Be an expert with respect to the alternative competitive offerings
•Coordinate, schedule and plan product releases with a cross functional team
•Act as the subject matter expert for the SI Cloud portfolio
•Work with Corporate and Segment marketing on messaging, positioning, pricing, etc.
•Serve as a leader for the Secure Issuance Cloud portfolio’s success within the company, while collaborating with other HID business units to assure consistency of Cloud Solution architecture to ensure end user integration symmetry.
•Be the face of SI cloud Solutions to market, participating and presenting in industry events, trade shows, speaking engagements, external partner events, and internal sales meetings.

Education and/or Experience

•Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a software Product Manager, Product Marketing Manager, Solutions Engineer, or Business Analyst with 2-3 years experience driving Cloud GTM strategies preferred.
•Minimum of 5 years’ technical background and experience in SaaS/on-demand solutions delivered via the web required
•Experience in the B2B software and services required
•Demonstrated experience in gathering and transforming business needs into a successful product strategy which results in significant growth.
•Experience migrating software offering to the Cloud deployment model.
•Proven ability to define & deliver on product vision & commitments.
•Exceptional critical thinking & analytical skills which allow for the ability to make informed & fast decisions related to product feature design and direction.
•Demonstrated experience of ‘owning’ the decision/solution.
•Outgoing personality, high energy and passion for solving the challenges at hand.
•Guiding cross-functional teams to a precise understanding of product decisions and resulting impact is critical.
•Experience guiding executives and cross-functional stakeholders through product and solution vision discussions.
•Experience identifying, validating and sizing of market segments, whitespace and greenfield opportunities.
•Cloud experience in helping channel partners and their end-business customers accelerate the adoption of cloud solutions. These Cloud solutions will require PM to have knowledge in planning & design, workload analysis, implementation, technology selection, migration, etc.
•Knowledge of data center technologies and the various types of cloud services that can be offered in terms of analysis, migration, security, monitoring, and production support.
•Experience with Managed Print Services preferred.
•Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the card personalization and issuance industry strongly preferred
•Experience in Financial (payment), Government, Enterprise, Gaming and/or Education industries preferred
•Experience and knowledge of EMV is preferred
•Experience in Agile development process preferred
•BS Degree – Engineering or Computer Science; MBA preferred

Language Skills

•Ability to effectively communicate in the English language verbally and in writing.
•Ability to read and interpret technical journals, specifications, international technical standards, etc.
•Foreign language skills are considered a plus

Computer Skills

•Familiar with Cloud offerings such as AWS,, MS Azure, Google Cloud
•Proficient in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
•Experienced with the use of Use of Agile,
•Familiar with operating systems, such as Windows, etc.
