Summary:  The primary responsibility of the Implementation Project Manager is to manage all aspects of the implementation cycle of Cross Match products and services to new and existing customers. The implementation cycle includes requirements and deliverables review, technical site preparation, receiving agency coordination, delivery logistics, final solution implementation, and project closure.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  Primary duties include but are not limited to:

  • Manage all aspects of installations for multiple receiving agencies
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with customers and receiving agencies with high levels of satisfaction.
  • Act as liaison between customers and receiving agencies; responsible for becoming subject matter expert (SME) for each receiving agency in assigned territory
  • Manage day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope between internal resources and customer
  • Interface with Sales, Software, Customer Care, and Integration teams through approved channels providing valuable feedback leading to product and process improvement
  • Schedule installations by confirming customers technical readiness and availability
  • Ensure agency-specific technical work instructions and project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately

Education and/or Experience:

  • BA or BS desired, or equivalent experience
  • Must have 5 - 8 years general work experience with 3 - 5 years in technical project management, system installations, or Level 2 Help Desk support

0 – 25%

 

Additional Responsibilities, Education and/or Experience:

Level 1

  • Working knowledge of project management principles and ability to apply them to deliver products and services to new and existing customers
  • General technical knowledge/skills related to support of PC hardware, software, and networks
  • Project management certificate from accredited institution required or attainable

 

Level 2

  • Moderate knowledge of project management principles and ability to apply them to deliver products and services to new and existing customers.
  • Initiate, monitor, and report on special projects as needed
  • 3 – 5 years of project management experience installing technology products
  • Project management certificate from accredited institution required or attainable

 

Level 3

  • Advanced knowledge of project management principles and ability to apply them to deliver products and services to new and existing customers
  • Initiate and participate in the quality improvement process, identifying opportunities for improvement, participating and/or leading key initiatives for the department, and documenting new processes and procedures
  • 5+ years of project management experience installing technology products
  • Scrum Master certification and/or PMP required
