Summary

HID Global IAMS is a business area within HID Global consisting of three new business units: Workforce Identity, Consumer Authentication, and IOT & PKI. The new Workforce Identity business unit’s mission is to enable a safe, secure, and productive workforce wherever they are.

 

We are actively looking for someone to help our newly formed Business Unit exceed and overachieve against our goals.  We cannot do this alone. We are looking for the right person to own and drive strategy, and our solutions messaging and positioning both internally and to the outside world for our Crescendo family of hardware and mobile-based strong authentication credentials and security keys. We are looking for someone who has built up several years’ experience in marketing and selling hardware-based secure authentication credentials and thrives with change and ambiguity. You will be responsible for the business unit’s vision for Crescendo, own the relationships between Product Management, Marketing and the Sales organization whilst also ensuring that our strategic direction is aligned with the needs of the markets.

 

You will need to understand, define, and interact with the buying personas across core vertical markets while providing the content to create the marketing materials needed to support the marketing and sales teams.  Our expectation is that you understand the drivers behind the purchase of secure enterprise authentication credentials. 

 

In addition to this you will use your existing knowledge and experience to develop and help establish new strategic relationships in order to support our continued growth whilst also owning the competitive analysis.  And, at the same time educating the sales and products teams on the future of the market, helping us to prepare for the coming years by aligning with the market and industry trends.

 

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Define and create solution messaging and positioning for HID’s Workforce Identity Credential family of hardware and software-based security credentials working with all relevant functions to execute.
  • A strong storyteller, able to create content that delivers key messages that enable our marketing and sales teams to execute successful and relevant strategic campaigns and programs.
  • Champion HID’s Workforce Identity enterprise positioning and validate market messaging, while being able to evangelize HID’s Crescendo product offerings both internally and externally.
  • Constant learner, developing and maintaining in-depth knowledge and understanding of the Workforce Identity Enterprise Authentication and Identity Management market space, products, and service offerings, including value proposition, competitive landscape and the verticals, persona’s, and use cases where they are relevant.
  • Work alongside the product and sales teams to understand the market challenges of the world’s Large, Medium, and Small enterprise organizations, and how all of HID’s products come together to solve their challenges.
  • Collaborate with both sales and marketing on plans and build sales enablement content for state of the art digital and field-based learning tools that enable faster sales on-boarding and result in a consistent pipeline for the sales organization.
  • Content creator that partners with Sales, Product and Marketing teams to develop consumable relevant content on value proposition, competitive landscape and the verticals, persona’s, and use cases where they are relevant.
  • Building, managing, and maintaining compelling SharePoint sites that deliver key messages, and that provide simple access to content and enable sales.

 

Education and/or Experience          

  • BS degree in marketing or related field. Candidates with equivalent education, plus relevant work experience may also be considered for this role.  
  • Minimum 7+ years product marketing, product management, technical sales and or business development experience in enterprise security.
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise B2B marketing across one or more of our core verticals: Enterprise, Healthcare, Banking and Finance, and Aviation is desirable. 

 

Computer Skills     

  • Proficient in MS Office applications, such as Sharepoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams etc.
