As a Senior Software Automation Engineer in Engineering Department,  you will working with FW, SW & SQA Engineering teams to develop test script & automation for Fingerprint and other software tools and working with SW and FAE engineers to test Fingerprint SDK/drivers in Windows O.S, Linux and Android O.S to meet SW quality requirement.


What you will be doing:

  • Serve as the operations of test lead and team up with cross-functional teams for customized requirements of HID customers
  • Identify, reproduce, troubleshoot and isolate bugs found via software tool and environment
  • Support WHQL/WHLK testing for Fingerprint WBF drivers
  • Set up test environment in multi-platform for system level testing with Fingerprint drivers & readers
  • Familiar with CI/CD and automation testing flow & tools, such as Jenkins, Robot Framework, TestRail, Gitlab, Nexus and Jira, Confluence systems


What we are looking for:

Education and/or Experience          

  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
  • 8+ years of software quality assurance experience involving multi-platform based commercial, consumer-oriented products.
  • 5+ years of automation test development in Windows, Linux, Android or iOS
  • Experiences in testing SPI and USB communication protocols.

Language Skills                   

  • Ability to effectively communicate in the English language verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical journals, specifications, international technical standards, etc.                       

Computer Skills     

  • Proficient in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Familiar with operating systems, such as Windows, etc.
  • Basic knowledge of WHQL/WHLK is a plus
  • Strong in Python is preferred

Work Requirements

  • Travel and fieldwork including international travel, therefore employee must possess or can acquire a valid passport.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Taiwan.
