Washington D.C., April 27, 2004 – HID, the premier manufacturer of contactless access control cards and readers for the security industry, today announced their ability to demonstrate open and interoperable,13.56 MHz contactless smart card readers at the CardTech/SecurTech (CTST) Exhibition this week in Washington D.C. The demonstration will feature the company's innovative iCLASS ISO-compliant card reader compatibility with Mifare DESfire, Mifare Standard, Mifare Ultralight, PICOPASS and TI-RFid credentials as utilized in various government and commercial applications.
